to the website of the Montgomeryshire Emergency Doctors (MEDs)
Montgomeryshire Emergency Doctors is a registered Charity, (affiliated
to BASICS) based in mid Wales, providing Immediate Medical Care
either at the scene of an accident, medical emergency or during
transport to hospital.
The two Doctors involved are local General Practiotiners and cover North Powys in the former county of Montgomeryshire and into the border areas of Shropshire and Gwynedd. They work closely with the other Emergency services to ensure that patients are provided with optimal pre-hospital care and transported to the most appropriate hospital for definitive treatment.
